Lavazza Saves 2.5M kWh with 100% Incentive-Funded Upgrades
Lavazza, a coffee product manufacturer, upgraded its West Chester, Pennsylvania, production facility's compressed air system — saving big and gaining incentives to pay for 100% of improvements.
The Results
The project achieved 2,531,772 kWh in annual energy savings through comprehensive compressed air system optimization. Emergent Energy Solutions partnered with Lavazza to identify inefficiencies in the existing compressed air infrastructure and develop a turnkey solution.
Utility Incentives
Through PECO's financial incentive programs, the entire cost of improvements was covered, making the project zero net cost to Lavazza while delivering substantial ongoing energy savings. The project demonstrates how industrial facilities can leverage utility rebate programs to fund energy efficiency improvements while achieving significant operational cost reductions.
